It was one of his biggest nights for the French striker since he’s been playing in LaLiga. Three goals, each one different from the others, something that proves how complete as a player the Sevilla’s centre forward is. His first was after a clearance inside the penalty area, showing his instinct as a striker. He scored with the left foot after being spectacularly assisted by Benega and managed to score his first hat-trick in LaLiga from the penalty spot.
Turning point
Even though at the beginning of the match, Getafe came dangerously close to Sergio Rico’s goal, little by little Sevilla took charge in the match. The first goal spread confidence in the local team, turning the match into a monologue by the men of Unai Emery who went on to defeat Getafe by 5-0, and earn ten points in the last four matches.
A splendid night for both Sevilla’s wings
Konoplyanka on the left and Vitolo on the right were a real danger during the whole match. The Ukrainian player carried, with Banega, all the offensive weight and managed to unbalance every one on one he encountered. Vitolo’s speed and boldness also shone on the right wing alongside Mariano.

The Argentinian was the master of the game, he controlled all Sevilla’s entire play and showed his skill in the attacking midfielder area. His assist was essential for the second goal by Kevin Gameiro after a nice pass coming from a free kick.
Endless ambition
Sevilla’s ambition was a great performance and a step forward in Liga BBVA, so every goal seemed too little for them. It wasn’t enough to be up in the score, they fought for a landslide that would give them plenty of confidence for following matches.
