It is a fact that LaLiga will make history in the UEFA Champions League with five Spanish teams taking part in the competition. Real Madrid CF, Sevilla FC, Atletico Madrid, Valencia CF and FC Barcelona will put Spain in the limelight.
Real Madrid CF vs CF Shakhtar Donetsk
Real Madrid will play its first European match at the Santiago Bernabeu against the Ukrainian side, a more complicated match than it may seem. Shakhtar is a team with experience in the Champions League and comes as second of the Ukrainian League. For its part, Rafa Benitez´s team is in high spirit after two consecutive thrashings in LaLiga against Real Betis and Espanyol, and their star player Cristiano Ronaldo, in a perfect state of shape.
Benítez: "Shakhtar are a great team, they're going to be a difficult team to face." #RMUCL #RMCity

Sevilla FC vs Borussia Monchengladbach
It is a clash of need for both sides. Unai Emery's men come to the match in a delicate situation. The Andalusians haven´t won in LaLiga, and Germans have not done so in Bundesliga, so they will seek redemption in the Champions League start. .
Galatasaray SK vs Atlético Madrid
The "Rojiblancos" are attending the clash at Istanbul after a defeat against FC Barcelona in LaLiga, the first of the course. "Cholo" Simeone´s side want to wipe the slate clean and go into the match with the intention of returning to their winning line. The small inconvenience for the manager will be the absence of Filipe Luis, unfit. The Turkish team, unlike Atletico, bypasses its best: last matchday lost to the bottom club and they go further away from the top.
