Sevilla part ways with Eduardo Berizzo

Sevilla FC have announced that Eduardo Berizzo is no longer the club coach, as per a statement released on the club website on Friday evening.

The decision was taken following Wednesday's 3-1 defeat to Real Sociedad, a result which extended the team's poor run of form. 

In a statment, the club said "Sevilla FC would like to express its gratitude to Berizzo for his professionalism, the work he has delivered and his treatment of all the members of the club since his arrival."
