Sevilla off to South Korea on pre-season tour

Today, Thursday, sees Sevilla FC head out to South Korea ahead of an action-packed pre-season tour organised by LaLiga and Korean broadcaster Coupang Play that will see the Sevillians stay in the East Asian country until 17 July.

During the course of the tour, the Nervion-based side will expand their brand in the Korean market by taking part in various activations and meeting with a host of local organisations.

The Sevilla players will get the chance to soak up the local culture as they visit one of the country’s must-see monuments in the shape of the Gyeongbokgung Palace, situated at the very heart of Seoul, and drop by at the World K-Pop Center dance hub, which reared some of Korea’s world-famous pop artists.

The Andalusians will round off the tour with a mouth-watering contest against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday 16 July at the Suwon Sports Complex, which hosted games during the 2002 FIFA World Cup, including one of La Roja’s matches. Spain-based fans will be able to follow live coverage of the game, which kicks off at 13:00 (CET), on LaLigaSportsTV Plus.
