Sevilla gets its first win in Liga BBVA

Rayo's First Half

The first 45 minutes were dominated and controlled by Paco Jemez´s side. Rayo Vallecano did not stopped creating danger, but the result favored Sevilla thanks to goals from Gameiro and N'Zonzi.

Sevilla's goalkeeper made a great performance, avoiding Rayo Vallecano's goal. The team from Madrid harassed Sevilla´s area, but Rico became an insurmountable wall for Javi Guerra and company.

Sevilla Effectiveness

Despite the dominance of Rayo, Sevilla was most effective in front of goal. Gameiro and N'Zonzi were the stars of Emery's team scoring two goals in the first half of the match.

Rayo's Response

The second half followed the same script as the first: the domain was exerted by Rayo Vallecano. But this time, the "Vallecanos" found the reward. Bebé scored in the 6th minute a great goal from a free-kick and put the Madrid team into the game. Javi Guerra, in the 23rd, got the equalizer.

First victory of Sevilla

Amaya was sent off in the 83 minute after a second yellow card and the free-kick gave the origin to the third goal of Unai Emery's side. Konoplyanka was the scorer of the free-kick that made the final 3-2 on the scoreboard.
