SD Ponferradina – R. Sporting (El Toralín, 6pm)
A Ponferradina side looking to stay in the play-off places play host to a Sporting team welcoming back Jony, Juan Muñiz and Pablo Pérez after their recoveries from injury. These two upper end of the table teams will be battling it out to keep their hopes of a promotion alive. Bernardo Espinosa, one of the Asturians' defenders, is fully aware of the importance of this meeting, saying that "Ponferrada are always difficult to play against". Meanwhile, the home side's Alan Baró was full of praise for the upcoming opposition: "Sporting haven’t lost a single game on the road and that tells you everything".

Albacete B. – CD Tenerife (Carlos Belmonte, 6pm)
Tenerife travel to face Albacete with the aim of putting some distance between themselves and the relegation zone, while a win for the home team would see them level on points with Álvaro Cervera's men. The Canary Island outfit are in more desperate need of a result in this match, having gone four games without a victory, while Luis César Sampedro's charges come into this clash on the back of a 2-3 win over Alcorcón. The visitors will be without Igor Arnáez, Iker Guarrotxena, Javi Moyano, Diego Ifrán and Jorge, however, new signing Juan Carlos will be available to play.

CE Sabadell – FC Barcelona B (Nova Creu Alta, 6pm)
"The match against Barca B is like a proper final". That is how Cristian García, the Sabadell defender, explained the upcoming Liga Adelante Catalan derby. Both sides are in equal need of points, as they have each only managed one win from their last five fixtures. The home side’s recent signings Carlos Clerc and Aníbal Zurdo might make their debuts in this game.

CD Numancia – Real Betis (Nuevo Estadio de Los Pajaritos, 6:15pm)
Two teams enjoying mixed fortunes come face to face this weekend. Numancia have gone six games without a win, although five of those matches ended in draws. Meanwhile, Pepe Mel's Betis will be looking to maintain their hot streak of good results and stay in the race for first place. The home side's boss, Juan Antonio Anquela, will have to make do without the injured Valcarce and Antonio Tomás. Álvaro Cejudo is unavailable for the Andalusians through suspension.

CD Mirandés – R. Racing C. (Municipal de Anduva, 8pm)
One of the division’s surprise packages play hosts to a recently-promoted side looking to pick up points in order to hold onto their Liga Adelante status. Álex García, one of the Burgos outfit’s midfielders, warned of his team's intentions: "We have to build on the draw in Lugo by beating Racing". For his part, Iñaki Sáenz explained that the Cantabrians must "forget" the last match and "get a good result in Anduva".

CD Leganés – UE Llagostera (Estadio Municipal de Butarque, 8pm)
Two recently promoted sides to the Liga Adelante will go toe to toe this weekend. Both Leganés and Llagostera will need a win in order to move further away from the relegation zone. The Catalans are just one point above danger, while the Madrid outfit need to get back to winning ways soon after suffering back-to-back defeats. This will be the first time Llagostera travel to the Estadio Municipal de Butarque for a competitive fixture against the side from the Spanish capital, who themselves will be aiming to set a club record of consecutive home victories (4).

UD Las Palmas – RCD Mallorca (Estadio de Gran Canaria, 9pm)
Two well-established sides will face off on matchday 23 of the Liga Adelante. Ángel López will miss the game for the Canary Islanders due to suspension. Meanwhile, the visitors will have a full squad to choose from. Valeri Karpin, the Balearic team's boss, stated that his players have to "pick themselves up" and pointed out: "It shouldn’t matter who we’re up against".
