SD Eibar step it up stateside in big screen visit

Following in the footsteps of Sylvester Stallone in his role as Rocky, the SD Eibar players this Friday graced the famous steps of Philadelphia's Museum of Art. There was laughter and smiles aplenty as the Armeros visited one of the city's most recognisable landmarks before resuming preparations for their first LaLiga World clash against the Philadelphia Fury.

Following on from their first training session of the day, the Eibar party visited the bronze Rocky Balboa statue, before mimicking the film scene and scaling the steps.

Ander Capa, Xabi Irureta, Jaime Jimenez, Dani Garcia, Borja Ekiza, Antonio Luna and Gonzalo Escalante battled it out to see who would be first to reach the top and catch a glimpse of the best views the city has to offer.
