Getafe are allowed to dream. Recent numbers can prove it. The team coached by Fran Escribá are in a good moment in Liga BBVA, in which they already add three straight wins after beating RCD Espanyol on Sunday (3-1).
The winning streak of the Azulones, already tenth in the table with 26 points, has much to do with the excellent performance of one of his players: Pablo Sarabia. And right next to him, Pedro Leon also plays a major role. Both the Madrid player as the Murcia footballer are two of the strongholds of the team, and so they proved it again in the last match against Espanyol. Their goals unblocked the game and turned around a match that began uphill after a target by Hernan Perez, and that finished with a third goal of Moi Gómez to seal the win.
The 2015/16 season is being the definite breakthrough year for Sarabia. A fixture for Escribá, the versatile midfielder has always returned the trust of his coach in the best way possible. His class, vision and technical quality are being complimented by the eye for goal that is displaying this course, in which already has five goals in his tally. He has shown his versatility even with his goals, as he has scored two with headers and another from a free kick.
The Azulón skipper, Pedro Leon, has alternated a place in the starting lineup with his capacity of "game-breaker". He returned to the first eleven against Espanyol as left winger and was a constant threat to the Espanyol defense. Skillful as usual, he scored the most important goal for the Madrid team: the equalizer three minutes after conceding the 0-1. He did it brilliantly, after taking a ball that Victor had crashed against the woodwork, getting rid of the defender and finishing masterfully in front of Pau López. With Pedro y Pablo dreaming is easier in Getafe.
