Action-packed from kick-off
There was no room for speculation and the Granada CF players knew it. That is why Jose Gonzalez's players took to the pitch intent on taking all three points and staying up. With that in mind, Granada went on the attack from the offset and could have taken the lead had it not been for Beto's impressive save from Adalberto Peñaranda's effort.
Juan Muñoz lets Granada off
With the visitors pushing hard to open the scoring, Sevilla were happy to sit back and break on the counter-attack. Unai Emery's charges could have broken the deadlock had Juan Muñoz taken his two chances better.
Cuenca opens the scoring
However, it was Granada who scored first. Some impressive build up play by the visitors saw Youssef El-Arabi set up Isaac Cuenca who fired his team into the lead, much to the delight of the visiting fans who had made the trip to Seville.

Diego Gonzalez equalises
With the visitors fully in control of the game, up popped Sevilla academy graduate Diego Gonzalez, who equalised for his team with his first touch of the ball in the Liga BBVA.
Goal fest
Far from reeling at conceding a goal, Granada reacted in impressive style to seal their Liga BBVA survival. Jean-Sylvain Babin restored his side's lead, El-Arabi scored from the penalty spot to extend that lead and Cuenca put the icing on the cake with his team's fourth goal of the game as Granada celebrated staying up at the Sanchez-Pizjuan.
