Ruben Pardo named LaLiga SmartBank Player of the Month for February

Ruben Pardo has been named the LaLiga SmartBank Player of the Month for February. The Logroño-born star has been pulling the strings in Leganes’ midfield and has helped the Madrid-based club claim five victories and only fall to defeat once.

The 28-year-old has particularly shone for his attacking contributions, striking twice in February against CD Lugo and Albacete BP, as well as providing an assist in his team’s 1-0 triumph over CD Tenerife.

A large part of CD Leganes’ success in February is down to Pardo’s contributions, which has seen the club cement themselves in the playoff positions in the division, while only being four points off a direct promotion spot to LaLiga Santander.
