SD Ponferradina 2-2 CD Mirandes
The local team is still undefeated at El Toralin. Mirandes got ahead through Alex Garcia and, after Alvaro Anton’s equalizer, through Lago Junior’s shot. However, Manolo Diaz’s men didn’t give up and Luka Djordjevic managed to draw during stoppage time.
R.Valladolid CF 1-1 CD Leganes
Samuel Llorca put the local side in front but Alexander Szymanowski rescued a point for the Madrid team at the Jose Zorrilla. Since Miguel Angel Portugal took over as manager, the home team hasn’t been defeated; Leganes, for their part, drew for the fifth consecutive match.
CD Tenerife 2-0 D. Alaves
The Canarias side got an encouraging win in the first match for Pep Marti as manager of the islands’ team, thanks to Pedro Martin and Omar Perdomo. With this result, Tenerife have now got 13 points and the Basques stay on 17.
RCD Mallorca 0-0 R. Zaragoza
Neither the Baleares team nor the Aragon team could move the score at the Iberostar Estadio, although there wasn’t a lack of opportunities. The point given to each team means that the home side can stay out of relegation positions and that the away side can extend their undefeated streak to 7 games.
Elche CF 2-1 At.Osasuna
Pucko put the team from Navarra in front in the 1st minute, but the home side managed a comeback to take an important victory. Sergio Leon drew the match and the winning goal came from a penalty kick taken by Ilie Sanchez, which stops the away team from fighting for the 1st place.
Gimnastic 2-0 SD Huesca
The Catalan team is still in shape and is looking for a promotion spot after beating Huesca at the Nou Estadi. Achille Emana scored the first goal for Vicente Moreno’s men and Jean Luc secured the victory taking advantage of a loose ball. The team from Aragon suffered their first away defeat.
CD Numancia 1-0 Real Oviedo
A goal by Alex Alegria after stepping on Borja Gomez’s mistake was enough for Numancia to find victory again. The team from Asturias had several chances but they lacked precision.
Girona FC 0-1 CD Lugo
Jose Juan’s great performance and a spectacular goal by Sergio Marcos gave the Galician team the victory at Montilivi. Pablo Machin’s men tried to get a good result until the end, but couldn’t avoid another loss.
Albacete B. 2-0 Cordoba CF
The team from La Mancha surprised Cordoba, who got there with the 1st place under their belt. Jona scored the first goal for the local side and Cesar Diaz secured the game for his team taking advantage of a bad pass back from David for Razak.
AD Alcorcon 0-0 UD Almeria
Goalless draw between the team from Madrid and the Andalusian side that leaves both teams with a bittersweet taste. Both sides had many chances to score, but Dmitrovic and Casto kept both teams form conceding. The first half showed parity and after half time, Almeria started to feel more confident. Chuli and Quique had opportunities, but the lack of precision and Dimitrov avoided a goal.
Bilbao Athletic 2-0 UE Llagostera
Santamaria scored first for the Basque team, in a match that Guarrotxena could have put on track with a penalty shot 15 minutes from the end. Even though he missed it, Bilbao Athletic’s number 7 redeemed himself shortly afterwards and scored the 2-0 that secured a victory for his team getting them out of the last place.
