Real Sociedad part ways with manager David Moyes

David Moyes is no longer the coach of Real Sociedad. San Sebastian´s club has announced through a statement the decision to not to continue counting on the services of the Scot manager after the team's lost against Las Palmas.

The coach took over the Basque team last season replacing Jagoba Arrasate. On the bench of Real Sociedad he has completed a total of 38 games in which he had 11 wins, 13 draws and 14 defeats.

"Real Sociedad has decided to terminate the contract of first team coach David Moyes. His assistant Billy McKinlay also dissociates with the Txuri Urdin team. The Txuri Urdin club wishes to thank both David Moyes as Billy McKinlay, the entire contribution, the professionalism and dedication they have shown during the course of their duties in the direction of the first team, while wishing them the best for their professional and personal future", said the club in a statement.
