The second leg of the UEFA Champions League round of 16 is set to kick off and Real Madrid will be the first team from the Liga BBVA to lace up their boots. Zidane oversees his second Champions League match as the Real Madrid coach and the Spanish side enter the game as favourites to progress: in the first leg, Madrid beat AS Roma 2-0 at the iconic Stadio Olimpico in Rome.
Cristiano Ronaldo and Jese Rodriguez took it upon themselves to secure Madrid’s first-leg victory and the coach will be hoping that they can produce more of the same, with Karim Benzema still out injured and unavailable for the game at the Bernabeu.

The good news for the Spanish giants is the return of Luka Modric, who will be back in action after recovering from injury. Bale will also enter the fray, after getting a run out against RC Celta in the Liga BBVA, and Zidane has assured that he “is ready to play”. Roma head into the game coming off the back of a great result in Serie A, having convincingly beaten Fiorentina 4-1 in their last league match.
