Excellent start for Whites
Real Madrid staged a very intense start of the match, completely overturned in the area of its opponent. Thus, Rafa Benitez´s team quickly found its reward and surprised the team from the Canaries.
After 4 minutes, Isco Alarcon scored his first goal in this course after taking advantage of an assist from Casemiro, while Ronaldo extended the lead for the Whites in the 14th minute with a diving header.
Hernán, first away scorer at the Bernabeu
Despite the two-goal disadvantage, Las Palmas did not threw in the towel and stalked the opponent's goal. In fact, Quique Setién’s side managed to do what no other team had achieved so far at the Santiago Bernabeu: score a goal. Hernán Santana, with a header that hit the crossbar first, beat Kiko Casilla and established the 2-1 after 38 minutes.
Jesé Rodriguez strikes again
Born in Las Palmas, Jesé lived a special game and shine with his own light. The young White footballer played again as a starter and was able to hit his second goal of the season, scoring a 3-1 that brought back calm to Real Madrid at the verge of the half time break.
Kiko Casilla
The Catalan goalkeeper made his debut in Liga BBVA with Real Madrid and, despite conceding a goal, showed his great conditions on Madrid´s ground. The most decisive and dramatic save came in the 56th minute, when he flew to stop a great free kick by Willian José.
Domain and capitalize the advantage
The pace of the game decreased in a second half in which Real Madrid was able to seamlessly manage its two-goal lead. Thus, young talents like Llorente or Mayoral could enjoy minutes in front of Santiago Bernabeu fans.
