- Fran Escribá's side beat Sporting 2-1 away last weekend earning three points which moved them away from the relegation places. The Azulones are seeking back-to-back victories for the first time this season.
- Getafe have five victories to date. Four of them, at the Coliseum Alfonso Perez. Only Granada CF and FC Barcelona have left with all three points. In addition, Fran Escribá's side have not lost at home since matchday 10.

- Pepe Mel's team have only taken two points from their last five matches. Those points came in draws in the Seville derby and against RC Celta. To win they need to score, something that Betis have failed to do in their last four games.
- Betis seem more comfortable playing away from home. The Verdiblancos have secured five wins this season. Four of them, away from the Benito Villamarin.
