RCD Espanyol part company with Pablo Machin

RCD Espanyol and coach Pablo Machin have parted company, the Catalan club said on Monday, following Sunday's 2-0 defeat to CD Leganes in LaLiga Santander.

In an official statement, Espanyol thanked Machin for "his commitment and work put in over the last few months, and wish him all the best on a personal and professional level in the future."

Espanyol lie 20th in LaLiga Santander with 10 points from the 18 games played so far this season.
