RC Celta manager Oscar Garcia parts ways with club

Oscar Garcia will not continue as RC Celta manager this season, as confirmed by the club in a statement on their official website.

The Catalan coach's contract has been terminated following a year in charge at ABANCA-Balaidos, with the club currently in 17th place in the LaLiga Santander standings after Friday's 1-1 draw with Elche CF.

In their statement, RC Celta expressed their "most sincere gratitude, both to the manager and his assistants, for their hard work, commitment and professionalism whilst with the club, which led to their survival in LaLiga Santander in the 2019/20 season". A replacement for Garcia is yet to be announced.
