Raul de Tomas named LaLiga 1l2l3 Player of the Month for February

Rayo Vallecano striker Raul de Tomas has been named the LaLiga 1l2l3 February Player of the Month. The Madrid-born frontman has enjoyed a prolific month and has seen his side climb into second place on the back of an impressive run of three wins and a draw.

‘Number 22’ is Rayo’s main focus in attack, scoring four of his side’s nine goals this month including a valuable goal in the win over leaders SD Huesca and a stunning hat-trick against Cultural. Rayo have one clear objective this season – promotion back to LaLiga Santander – and with de Tomas leading the line they’re in with an excellent chance.

This season, LaLiga has added a new dimension to the awarding of the Player of the Month accolade, bringing fans closer to the action of the best league in the world. This will see Raul de Tomas collect the award in front of the Estadio de Vallecas faithful before Rayo's clash with Reus this coming Sunday.
