Quique Sánchez Flores named as Getafe's new boss

Quique Sánchez Flores is the new Getafe CF boss. Following the departure of Cosmin Contra, the club have appointed him on a two and a half year deal, meaning Sánchez Flores returns to the place he had his first senior managerial job at a decade on.

Flores knows Liga BBVA well having also taken charge of Valencia CF and Atlético Madrid. Today, after taking his first training session, he was presented by Getafe president Ángel Torres at a press conference in the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez.
