Pure passion on the pitches at #LaLigaPromises

It was a day for joy and for tears in the twentieth LaLigaPromises International Tournament in Miami. The 17 teams in the competition completed the group stage, and the knockout rounds cranked up the excitement and the tension. The quarter-finals of #LaLigaPromises provided moments full of passion, commitment and sportsmanship.

Just ask Valencia CF, Sevilla FC, Villarreal CF and FC Barcelona, who all progressed to the semi-finals after tense, thrilling matches. We saw players jumping with joy as they celebrated decisive goals. On the other hand, however, we saw the tears of Estudiantes de La Plata after they missed out on the quarter-finals in the group phase, we saw the impotence of Real Madrid who ended up falling on penalties, and the pride of RC Celta, who despite not making the last four, put in one of their best performances in the tournament's history.
