Party time plus a last-minute surprise at the Calderon to round off the #LigaBBVAExperience in Madrid

The final day in the Spanish capital kicked off at the Bernabeu and ended with a handsome Rojiblancos win. It was a memorable finale to an experience which these Latin American LaLiga fans will never forget.

The big day was here and the sun certainly had its hat on. After two days in which clouds had dominated the Madrid skyline, the 11 participants in the #LigaBBVAExperience were treated to some fine weather in the build-up to the eagerly anticipated showdown between Atletico Madrid and Granada CF.

The curtain was set to come down on the weekend's festivities at the Vicente Calderon, but it was at the home of Atletico's eternal rivals that the final day of activities got underway. Our LaLiga fans took to the escalators at tower B of the Santiago Bernabeu, from where they embarked on a tour in which they learnt all there is to possibly know about the history of Real Madrid. During their visit, the guests had the opportunity to pose for photos out on the pitch and in the Blancos trophy room.

Visiting the Bernabeu was hungry work and upon leaving the stadium it was time to sample a seafood rice dish at the Los Arroces de Segis restaurant. Without further ado the time had come to head over to the Calderon to soak up some of the pre-match atmosphere. Chance had it that the LaLiga Experience 11 would bump into the very same Granada supporters' group with whom they had shared dinner the previous evening at Bodegas Rosell, which certainly helped to pep up the pre-match atmosphere.

Now inside the ground and with their faces sporting the red and white of Atletico, Jose Luis Perez Caminero dropped by to present the supporters with certificates from the club, before calling on the visitors to get fully behind Atleti. And boy did they take note! Watching the action from the comfort of a box, the guests really got into the party mood, which built with the hosts' every passing goal. Koke's opener was followed by a strike from Fernando Torres and next up it was Angel Correa who got our starting XI up and out of their seats to share in the red-hot atmosphere inside the Calderon.

What more could they have possibly asked for? Well, in fact there was one last surprise still to come. With the stadium now empty, the Atletico players made their way out of the tunnel area and headed towards the 11 followers to sign scarves and shirts and pose for photos. A really nice touch from the Atletico squad and one which put the icing on the cake of this most Latino of #LigaBBVAExperiences.
