SÁB 20.02.2016

Team News:

- Malaga CF: Christian Atsu, Juan Carlos, Chory Castro, Hachim Mastour and Fernando Tissone (all injured)

- Real Madrid: Benzema, Gareth Bale and Pepe (injured); Raphäel Varane (suspended)

Match Facts:

Malaga CF (11th, 30 pts):

-Pressing high up the field, playing as a compact unit and a team. These are some of the key ingredients which have made Javi Gracia's side such difficult opposition on their own patch. The foundations for success are set in defence, which has only conceded seven goals in 11 home games.

- Juanpi is on an excellent run of form in LaLiga. He's got three goals to his name in his last four and he's really starting to develop into the quality player that he always promised to become.

- It'll be a special day for Malaga's Miguel Torres, who was a graduate of the Real Madrid academy. In the pre-match press conference, Torres spoke of how his side's intentions for this weekend's clash: "We're going to give Real Madrid a tough game".

Real Madrid (3rd, 53 pts):

- Since the appointment of Zinedine Zidane, Real Madrid are yet to taste defeat in LaLiga. The record reads, five wins and one draw, which incidentally came on Andalusian soil, against Real Betis at the Benito Villamarin.

- You have to go back four years to find the last time Los Blancos were beaten at the Rosaleda, which has been somewhat of a happy hunting ground in recent times, after having come away with 2-1 and 1-0 victories in their last two trips since 2012.

- With 21 goals to his name, Cristiano Ronaldo is his team's top scorer. He comes into this one on the back of a Champions League goal against AS Roma and a brace against Athletic Club. The Portuguese forward represents the biggest threat to the Malaga backline.

What to do in Malaga this weekend?

One of the most fun and original ways to spend time in the city is to head over to the Malaga Automobile Museum, which takes visitors on an enjoyable journey back through the history of the car in what's an interesting and rather quirky experience.
