Official Statement

We hereby inform you that the free TV Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4 have not been awarded, since none of the offers received from candidates  reached their respective Individual Reserve price. Consequently, the monitoring body of LaLiga, responsible for the management of broadcasting rights, has agreed to proceed under section 5.3 of the "Basis for the request for proposals for commercialization of rights to exploit audiovisual content of the National League Championship of First and Second Division and the Copa Del Rey for the 2016-2017 to 2018-2019 seasons (https://www.laliga.es/bases-concursos-de-derechos-audiovisuales) and therefore convene a new Request for Proposals.

In accordance with the Bases, we urge them to tender for Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4, having the candidates to submit, to this end, a sealed envelope containing their new Economic Bid in CSD headquarters, duly identified as " OFFER [OPERATOR] - LOT [NUMBER] " and addressed to the attention of the President of the CSD, Miguel Cardinal. It should also be noted that Lot 3 has become, definitely, exclusively as a result of the award of Lot 5 fee for subscription broadcasting, at the tender submitted for Lot 3 will only must contemplate that scenario.

The deadline for submission of bids ends on December 15, 2015 at 16:00 pm.

For the award of these lots 1, 2, 3 and 4 the procedure stipulated in the Terms (published in https://www.laliga.es/bases-concursos-de-derechos-audiovisuales) and in particular, may awardees be those candidates whose best price reaches the Individual Ready Reserve. It is recalled that the price of the Individual Ready Reserve in this new request for bids is the same than set in the first Request for Proposals.
