Official Statement

As a consequence of the agreements announced today between LaLiga and Telefónica about the commercialisation of the exploitation rights of audio-visual content of LaLiga National Championship for the season 2015/16 in the national market, the invitation to tender for such commercialisation is suspended by LaLiga, and it is temporarily transferred to the months of October and November 2015.

In due time, the publication dates of the "Bases for the tender of bids for commercialisation of the exploitation rights to audio-visual content of the First and Second Divisions of LaLiga National Championship" for the national market for the seasons 2016/2017 and the two following seasons will be announced. All in compliance with that set forth in the Real Decreto Ley 5/2015, 30th April, of urgent measures with reference to the marketing of the exploitation rights of audio-visual content in the professional football competitions.
