SD Ponferradina - CD Mirandés (16:00, El Toralín)
Mirandés, who are currently in the danger zone, come into the eighth matchday of the Liga Adelante with the hope of becoming the first team to mount a successful assault the Toralín this season. Ponferradina have made their home ground a stronghold and will want to stay at the top end of the table with a good result in front of their fans.

Alan Baró and Tete will miss the match through injury and Diego Sánchez and José Manuel Rueda, will not be there for technical reasons. Carlos Terrazas, the manager of the team from Miranda de Ebro, will have all his players available for the match.
RCD Mallorca - Dep. Alavés (16:00, Iberostar Estadio)
The Bermellones are looking to pick up three points for the first time this season from a settled Alavés in order to escape last position. Valeri Karpin’s team are still yet to win in the first seven matches of the championship and are in desperate need of points in order to get their season underway.
"Saturday’s match is an ultimatum", confessed Mallorca’s coach, aware of the importance of the tie. The Albiazules will not want to let the opportunity slip them by and, in the words of midfielder Dani Toribio: "We’re not talking about their situation in the dressing room. We have to get three points whatever happens".
R. Racing C. - FC Barcelona B (18:00, El Sardinero)
A clash of contrasting needs in Santander this weekend. A Racing on the up and hungry for goals host an FC Barcelona B who are in need of points after picking up just one from the last nine. Both teams’ star strikers will steal the headlines in this demanding match.
Centre-back Bernardo Cruz and forward David Concha will be doubts until the last minute with their respective injuries.
AD Alcorcón - CA Osasuna (18:15, Municipal de Santo Domingo)
Matchday eight has thrown up a passionate clash between Alcorcón and Osasuna in which the two sides will be gunning for victory. Both teams, who currently sit mid-table, are hoping to move up after the final whistle.
While the team from Madrid will have a similar line-up to in recent matches, five members of the side from Navarre will miss the clash due to international duties and the injured Oier Sanjurjo and Jordan Lotiès will also be absent.
Albacete B. - Girona FC (20:00, Estadio Carlos Belmonte)
The second and penultimate match promises to be one of the clashes of the weekend. The side from La Mancha, who are coming off the back of thumping from CE Sabadell (6-1) will be looking to bounce back against Girona, one of the season’s surprise packages.
In order to switch things around and put the defeat behind them, Luis César Sampedro confirmed that he will be making "changes to the starting line-up". For his part, Girona’s manager, Pablo Machín, will have to make do without Pere Pons, who is expected to be replaced by Álex Granell.
CD Numancia - R. Valladolid CF (21:00, Estadio de Los Pajaritos)
Numancia and Valladolid will provide the weekend’s lively local derby. While the Rojillos are looking for their first victory at home this season to start turning their campaign around, Valladolid, currently third, will be fighting to keep their position at the top and finish the weekend as leaders.

The biggest changes for the encounter will come in the team from Soria, where Carlos Aranda, Juan Antonio Anquela’s latest signing, will be making his debut. For Valladolid, 'Rubi' will turn to the academy to replace the absent Roger Martí and Jeffren Suárez. Alejandro Alfaro returns to the squad.
CD Tenerife - RC Recreativo (21:00, Heliodoro Rodríguez López)
Two of the division’s biggest teams will bring the first session of Liga Adelante matchday eight to a close. Tenerife, in need of points and in the danger zone, are looking for more points at home, but they face an ambitious Recreativo who do not want to abandon the top end of the table and are determined to win.
The island team have no significant absentees, and Diego Ifrán is back in the fold for the crucial clash. For their part, Alvaro Antón, Isaac Nana and Juampa are back on José Luis Oltra’s list for the clash with the Andalusians in the Heliodoro Rodríguez López
