Nico Williams and Iñigo Lekue win LALIGA EA SPORTS Move of the Month for December

 

Nico Williams and Iñigo Lekue have been given the accolade of LALIGA EA SPORTS Move of the Month for December, awarded by LALIGA in partnership with Visit Saudi.

Athletic were already one goal to the good when Williams received a through ball by Lekue on the right flank. The winger then cut inside and launched a laser-guided left-footed effort into the top corner. Jan Oblak had no chance and the 21-year-old’s strike sealed the win for Ernesto Valverde’s charges.

 

The Athletic stars beat other wonderful combination plays by Girona FC’s Viktor Tsyhankov and Artem Dovbyk as well as FC Barcelona’s Raphinha and João Félix in the shortlist for the award of LALIGA EA SPORTS Move of the Month.
