Real Betis - UD Las Palmas (12:00, Estadio Benito Villamarín)

One of the most enticing matches of the weekend. The Canary Island outfit, who ended last week at the top of the table with 14 points, travel to Sevilla with the intention of keeping their place at the pinnacle. They face a Verdiblancos team that have one point fewer and are hoping to take strength from their home fans in order to overcome the visitors.

"We really want to play a good game. The players are working well and very enthusiastically. They know this is a big opponent and we are ready to win the match", stated Julio Velázquez, Betis’ manager. For his part, the visiting coach, Paco Herrera, was optimistic: "If we keep this form up, we have a chance of staying at the top".

R. Sporting - CD Leganés (17:00, Estadio El Molinón)

Sporting want to continue their record as the only unbeaten team in the Liga Adelante and continue to climb the table, while Leganés travel to Gijón hoping to get their first away win.

The Asturian team’s manager, Abelardo Fernández, praised his opponents: "Leganés don’t concede many goals, they are a team that are very solid at the back. They will try to make the most of our errors ". His counterpart on the team from the capital, Asier Garitano, stated that they will play without "fear" and will be "daring".

CD Lugo - R. Zaragoza (18:15, Estadio Ángel Carro)

Lugo come into the clash firing on all cylinders, having strung together four matches without a loss. They face a Zaragoza who are also on a good run of form, with three wins and a draw from the last four games.

"Zaragoza have some interesting players. It will be quite a balanced and tight match, and tough for both sides", stated Lugo’s coach, Quique Setién. The manager of the team from Aragon, Víctor Muñoz, also praised his opponents: "The team plays almost subconsciously. They have been playing together for many years and the manager has been there for a long time. They like to have the ball and they do that perfectly".

UE Llagostera - CE Sabadell (18:45, Nou Municipal de Palamós)

Llagostera and Sabadell will provide an unprecedented Catalan derby in the Liga Adelante. The home side are looking to keep growing in the competition, having already picked up eight points, while the Arlequinados are riding high on confidence after their 6-1 thumping of Albacete B.

Santi Castillejo, Llagostera’s manager, was confident in his men: "I’m very happy with the performance of my players in training again this week. That always invites optimism for the match". For his part, Miquel Olmo, the Sabadell coach, played down the importance of his team’s last match: "Last week’s result gave us confidence and morale, nothing more. It will not give us three points now. We are aware of our reality and we have to win away from home".
