Team News:
- Valencia CF: Zakaria Bakkali, Denis Cheryshev and Pablo Piatti (all injured); Antonio Barragan (suspended)
- SD Eibar: Jaime, Antonio Luna and Josip Radosevic (all injured)
Valencia (13th, 40 pts):
- Having recorded back-to-back wins, Pako Ayestaran's Valencia side will be feeling confident heading into their encounter with Eibar. After overcoming Sevilla FC 2-1 at home, they came away from the Camp Nou with an impressive victory over FC Barcelona by the same scoreline.
- Diego Alves is on song again. After being sidelined through injury for several months, the goalkeeper has played his way back into top form. He starred against Barça, making several key saves.
Eibar (10th, 41 pts):
- Just one point separates the two teams, so the Basques will be bidding to avoid being overtaken by their opponents. Indeed, after getting the better of Real Sociedad, Jose Luis Mendilibar's charges are looking up and want to see how high they can finish.
- A win would make Eibar's presence in the Liga BBVA for another season all but iron-clad. What's more, they are determined to take as many points as possible out of the 15 still to play for.
Don't leave Valencia without… exploring at least one of the many urban parks that give the city a slice of nature. The most famous of these is actually a marine park, the Oceanografic, which is part of the City of Arts and Sciences complex. It consists of 11 buildings housing aquatic life, which are split over two levels and feature major underwater sections, as well as a large lake in the middle.
