Míchel has been named the LALIGA EA SPORTS Manager of the Month for November, sponsored by Microsoft. The 48-year-old has had a very productive month in charge of Girona, which has seen his side accumulate 35 points, putting them alongside LALIGA leaders Real Madrid.
The Catalan team recorded two wins and a draw in November. Their first match of the month was a 4-2 away triumph over CA Osasuna, in which Girona came from behind to claim all three points. They repeated this feat in their following fixture, overcoming Rayo Vallecano 2-1 in Vallecas, before rounding off their November with a 1-1 draw against Athletic Club at Montilivi.
Míchel wins his third LALIGA EA SPORTS Manager of the Month trophy, beating the two other candidates shortlisted, Garcia Pimienta (UD Las Palmas) and Ernesto Valverde (Athletic Club) to the post.
