Michel leaves role as Getafe CF manager

Michel Gonzalez will not continue in his role as Getafe CF manager, the club confirmed in a statement on Monday. The decision comes after Sunday's 1-1 draw against Real Sociedad, which leaves Los Azulones bottom of LaLiga Santander with 1 point from 8 matches.

The club have yet to name a replacement for Michel, but thanked the Madrid-born coach in their statement for his hard work and professionalism during his second spell in charge at the Coliseum Alfonso Perez.
