Manager Sergio leaves Real Valladolid CF

Real Valladolid CF have parted company with manager Sergio Gonzalez, it was confirmed on Saturday. The decision comes after a 2-1 defeat to Atletico Madrid which seals their relegation from LaLiga Santander 

Sergio took charge in April 2018, earning promotion from LaLiga SmartBank in his first season via the play-offs. The club club thanked him for his "hard work and dedication" whilst in charge, and wished him the best for the future.

His successor at the Estadio Jose Zorrilla is yet to be announced.
