Luis Suarez is the October Player of the Month in LaLiga Santander

FC Barcelona striker Luis Suarez has won the October Player of the Month Award in LaLiga Santander. The Uruguayan’s goals and assists helped Barça take and hold the top spot in the standings last month.

Luis Suarez scored four of his nine goals in LaLiga Santander during the month of October. He started the month assisting Leo Messi in the 1-1  draw at Mestalla. He laid on another assist for Messi and scored himself in the 4-2 victory against Sevilla FC. At the end of the month, he was the star of the show as he struck a hat-trick in FC Barcelona’s 5-1 El Clasico victory over Real Madrid at the Camp Nou.

Barça’s number 9 will presented with the award in front of his own fans at the Camp Nou on Sunday 11 November before the game against R. Betis, which kicks off at 16:15 CET.
