Real Sporting beat CA Osasuna 2-0 in their Liga Adelante matchday ten clash. The result means that Sporting have extended their unbeaten start to the season.
The Asturian outfit did not wait long to take the lead. Sporting's number 11 rifled in a powerful shot that clipped a defender and ended up in the back of Santamaría's net. The side from Navarre struggled to recover from the blow. Abelardo's men pressured, boxing in an Osasuna who never looked settled on the pitch.
After the restart, Sporting went out in search of a second against a Rojillos side that was struggling to play and pick out their forwards. The home side got their just desserts by sealing the 2-0 scoreline. Academy player Carlos Castro finished with a subtle touch in the dying minutes of the match. The goal marked the end of the game and capped off a great Sunday-afternoon performance from his team. The three points put the Rojiblancos in third place with 20 points, nine above the Rojillos.
