Team News:

- RCD Espanyol: Anaitz Arbilla, Abraham González and Felipe Caicedo (injured); Jose Cañas (suspended).

- SD Eibar: Jaime Jimenez (injured).

Match Facts:

RCD Espanyol (15th, 40 pts):

- Despite last weekend's 5-0 defeat to FC Barcelona, Constantin Galca's side still managed to mathematically guarantee their top-flight survival with one game to spare.

- The Catalan team, who have only won one of their last seven Liga BBVA games, have a home record of eight wins, five draws and five defeats this season.

- RCD Espanyol's record from the three Liga BBVA games they have played against Eibar stands at one win and two defeats.

SD Eibar (12th, 43 pts):

- The Basque side guaranteed their Liga BBVA survival with three games to spare thanks to a 1-1 draw in Matchday 35.

- However, SD Eibar have not won a single game away from home during the second half of the campaign. Their last win on the road came back in January when they thrashed R. Betis 4-0. Since then, Eibar have lost seven away games and drawn another two.

- Eibar ran out 2-1 winners in their only other visit to the RCDE Stadium. That was last season on Matchday 17 as the Basque side reached the midpoint of the campaign in impressive form.
