Levante and Sevilla face each other on matchday 30 in the Liga BBVA. It’s a duel in which the hosts will be looking to repeat their strong performance against Almería on Saturday, while Sevilla take aim at the fourth UEFA Champions League spot. Sevilla have not won at the Ciutat de Valencia stadium since 28 August 2010.

Pedro López and Víctor Camarasa are Lucas Alcaraz’s only absentees for this game. David Barral goes into the match in red hot form after scoring a hat-trick against Almería. He is now the club’s second top scorer of all time in the Liga BBVA with 16 goals. Sevilla meanwhile will be without Mariano Barbosa, Stéphane M'Bia and Beto due to injury.

Unai Emery, did not want to praise his side for their position in the league and instead spoke of the importance of the next match: “We consider the match with Levante to be very important to profit from our collective performance. They are a very competitive team who are well drilled in all aspects of the game, regardless of who they are playing.”
His opposite number Lucas Alcaraz defined the match against the hispalenses as “an important challenge”and heaped praised on Emery’s team: “Sevilla have one of the best four squads in the league and they have a great coach and a lot of firepower up front.”
