Tana breaks deadlock
Las Palmas opened the scoring through Tana in the 32nd minute. Jonathan Viera made a great run down the left wing and crossed the ball for Tana to bury it into the back of Andres Fernandez’s net.
Araujo composure
At the start of the second half, the Argentine striker scored the second in a play where Vicente connected with Viera, who assisted with a backheel. The home striker put a perfect finish to a year in which one of his goals earned his team promotion to the Liga BBVA.
Peñaranda brings hope
The Andalusian team replied quickly to Araujo’s goal. In the 56th minute the young Adalberto Peñaranda scored the 2-1 which gave his team the hope of a comeback.
Viera secures the game
With 10 minutes to go, Jonathan Viera finished his great performance with a goal. He did it from a penalty kick, deceiving Andres Fernandez to score the 3-1.
Biraghi sent off
In the closing minutes, Biraghi saw a red card which meant Granada finished the game with 10 men and they conceded a fourth goal when Araujo's cross was turned into his own net by Lomban in time added on.
