Team News:
- SD Eibar: Jaime, Keko, Antonio Luna, Ivan Ramis and Borja Ekiza (all injured).
- UD Las Palmas: David Simon, Vicente Gomez, Dani Castellano, Angel Lopez and Hernan (all injured).
Match Facts:
Eibar (7th, 36 pts):
- The Armeros remain the highest-placed Basque side in the Liga BBVA, standing one point above Athletic Club and three ahead of resurgent Real Sociedad. However, their form has dipped since kicking off the year with four straight league victories and they have struggled for consistency recently. Goals from Saul Berjon and Takashi Inui came too late to salvage anything last time out against RC Celta.

- This will be the fourth meeting between the two teams this season. Eibar came away with a 2-0 victory in the reverse league fixture in Gran Canaria. It was a different kettle of fish in the Copa del Rey round of 16, however, with the two legs producing 10 goals in all as Las Palmas triumphed 3-2 both at home and at Ipurua. Given this backdrop, goals would appear to be guaranteed in this latest encounter between Jose Luis Mendilibar and Quique Setien's sides, in which the hosts will be looking to make amends for their cup elimination and to give their supporters something to shout about against the Canary Islanders.
Las Palmas (18th, 21 pts):
- Setien's charges have suffered three defeats in a row, but the most recent of these, against FC Barcelona, offered grounds for optimism. Las Palmas went toe to toe with the Liga BBVA leaders and came close to securing a draw. Nevertheless, they need to start collecting points again soon if they are to haul themselves out of the relegation picture.
- It has been a tempestuous week in the Canary Islands, so some good news on the pitch would be a welcome boost. The fans will be pinning their hopes on Willian Jose, the team's top scorer with five league goals.
