At the end of a thrilling campaign, Real Sociedad, SD Eibar and RCD Espanyol will be the first of the LaLiga clubs to participate in the 2016 LFP World Challenge. La Real and Eibar will head to the United States, where both teams will play two fixtures, whilst the Catalan outfit will play two games in Bolivia.
The first games to be broadcast live will be San Jose Earthquakes v Real Sociedad, Houston Dynamo v Real Sociedad, Philadelphia Fury v Eibar, New York Cosmos v Eibar, Club Blooming v Espanyol and Club Jorge Wilstermann v Espanyol.
In addition to offering viewers live coverage of all six games, the channel will be publishing the best highlights packages from the matches involving the Spanish sides, as well as a host of interviews with the stars.
Furthermore, the LaLiga Promises tournament, which will be held between June 2nd and 5th under the auspices of the LaLiga World programme, will also be broadcast on LaLiga's YouTube channel. The tournament showcases the future stars from the LaLiga clubs academies, who come together for a competition in which talent, fair play and excitement take centre stage.
The excellent results of the different channels, and the novel broadcasting formulas are a testament to the international expansion of LaLiga, and Spanish football’s adoption of new distribution channels and innovative digital content.
