There will certainly be no shortage of LaLiga interest in Sunday's Copa America Centenario 2016 showdown, with the Spanish top flight set to be the most well-represented league in a showpiece which sees Argentina and Chile go head-to-head in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

A total of up to 10 players are set to fly the LaLiga flag at the MetLife Stadium, making Spain's top tier the best represented division in the final, ahead of the English Premier League and Italy's Serie A, with seven players from both of these leagues poised to feature. Meanwhile, five Argentina-based players and three who ply their trade in Chile are set to be involved.

In a tournament in which LaLiga has played a prominent role throughout, it's the two nations with the largest contingents of Spain-based players who have made it through to the final. Argentina, who boast a squad including Lionel Messi, Ever Banega, Javier Mascherano, Matias Kranevitter and Augusto Fernandez, have sauntered through to the showpiece in impressive fashion, claiming a full sweep of victories from their five outings, whilst notching 18 goals and conceding just two in the process. Of particular note have been the eye-catching performances of five-goal Messi, whose goalscoring exploits at the tournament have seen him become his country's all-time top scorer.

Meanwhile, whilst Chile's Spain-based players, Claudio Bravo, Enzo Roco, Pablo Hernandez, Marcelo Diaz and Fabian Orellana may well have slipped to a 2-1 defeat in their tournament opener, to none other than Argentina, Juan Antonio Pizzi's charges have subsequently gone on to record four wins en route to the final. The Chileans have produced some excellent performances along the way, including an attacking masterclass in the emphatic 7-0 rout of Mexico in the quarter-finals.

The sides will be led out by Messrs Bravo and Messi in an encounter which sees last year's finalists renew acquaintances. Last time round it was Chile who ultimately emerged victorious on home soil, edging past La Albiceleste on penalties to take the title. Come the final whistle on Sunday, only one of the FC Barcelona men will get to lift the Copa America crown, but just which one of them will prevail?
