Seven of the teams that will be part of the draw for the next round of UEFA Champions League and Europa League are playing in Laliga. In this way, it becomes the more represented championship in the old continent, having overcome the Premier League and Bundesliga, with six participants, or the Serie A with five teams.
Real Madrid, FC Barcelona and Atlético de Madrid make up the excellent cast of clubs that have advanced to the knockout stage of the Champions League. All three have done it as group leaders and showing a remarkable brilliance. In addition, the White team and Barça have added a bonus to their qualification as leaders of their groups since they made it without losing a single game. Sevilla FC, Valencia CF, Villarreal CF and Athletic Club will do so in the UEFA Europa League round of 32.

In the undefeated Real Madrid there is a player that has stood out above the rest: Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese player has scored eleven goals in six games, beating the record for goals scored in a group stage and leaving their indelible mark, once again, in the world of football.
