LaLiga sharpshooters locked and loaded for UEFA EURO 2016 showpiece

EURO 2016 is all set to draw to a close. Bringing down the curtain will be a star-studded clash between Portugal and hosts France, in which LaLiga is sure to have a big say. Up to five players from the Spanish top flight will be on show in a hotly anticipated continental title decider. It will be Cristiano Ronaldo, Pepe and Andre Gomes up against Antoine Griezmann and Adil Rami after the Portuguese and French defeated Wales and Germany respectively in the semi-finals, both of which finished 2-0.

The spotlight will be shining particularly brightly on the penalty boxes, where – not for the first time – Real Madrid's Ronaldo and Atletico Madrid's Griezmann will be bidding to outgun one another. The Portuguese ace will be in buoyant spirits after his goal in the semis saw him equal Michel Platini as the European Championship's all-time top scorer. However, not to be upstaged, Griezmann proceeded to bag a brace against the world champions and in the process extended his lead at the summit of this edition's scoring charts, in which he now boasts six goals.

Alongside captain Cristiano, Pepe and Gomes will be flying the flag for LaLiga in defence and midfield respectively as Portugal seek their first EURO crown. As for the French, Rami will be hoping to get the nod to help stop Ronaldo and co., leaving Griezmann to attempt to fire France to glory in front of their expectant fans.

All will be decided this Sunday from 21:00 CET at the Stade de France.
