LaLiga Santander's goalscoring debutants

The minute, the player being replaced, the stadium and your shirt number. The day you make your debut in the greatest league on the planet serves up some simply unforgettable memories and if it's all topped off with a goal, then the memories become the sort that last a lifetime. As we head into the 22nd round of LaLiga Santander action, no fewer than 11 players have tasted this feeling.

On the opening day of the 2019/20 LaLiga Santander campaign, the following seven stars marked their club debuts with a goal: Iker Losada, Antonio Puertas, Dani Rodriguez, Roberto Soldado, Chimy Avila, Joselu and Sergio Reguilon. The former trio's debuts were made all the more special after they marked their first outings with their maiden goals at LaLiga Santander level. The latest player to enjoy this double bout of success was Fer Niño. The Villarreal CF youth product made his LaLiga Santander bow last time out, against D. Alavés at Mendizorroza. The youngster came on for Carlos Bacca in the 87th minute with the contest finely poised at 1-1 and it took all of two minutes for the starlet to open his LaLiga Santander account and secure the spoils for the visitors.
