LaLiga Promises starts in style

Group A

The match between Sagan Tosu and the Aspire Academy, settled with a 2-1 win for the Japanese side, raised the curtain of Group A. Then stepped in Real Madrid, which debuted with a solid 4-0 victory against Tosu with a beautiful goal by Nestor Lucas from outside the area.

Group B

Chicago Fire and Valencia CF staged the first group match and the opening clash of Laliga Promises. It was the Valencian team who ended up taking the victory with a goal from Cristian Valeria.

Group C

RC Celta shone on the first day of La Liga Promises with a hat-trick of wins: 4-0 against Orlando City, 3-2 to Juventus and 0-1 against Atlético de Madrid. Atlético also failed to get the three points in their first match against Estudiantes, who beat the "Madrileños" by 0-1 and Orlando City (0-4).
The Orlando team finished the day against Juventus in a match that ended with a 2-4 score to the Italian team.

Group D

FC Barcelona started behind on the scoreboard in their opening match, but ended up beating Crystal Palace 4-1 thanks to a hat-trick of Arnau Farnós. Who also started the day in a superb form was Villarreal CF, which gave no option to Weston FC and took the win with a brace from Jordi Ortega (0-4). In the last Sunday match of Group D, Crystal Palace defeated Weston FC by 1-6.
