LaLiga has filed two new complaints following the identification of the individual responsible for the racist insults against Vinicius Jr. and Samu Chukwueze in the RCD. Mallorca - Real Madrid, CA. Osasuna - Real Madrid and RCD. Mallorca - Villarreal, matches, respectively.
The police have taken a statement from the individual identified by the director of security at RCD. Mallorca as the person responsible for the racist insults against Villarreal CF player Samu Chukwueze on Saturday February 18, who, in turn, has been identified as the person responsible for the racist chants against Vinicius Jr. on February 5 from the same stand at the Estadi Mallorca Son Moix. These two complaints have been lodged with the Courts of Instruction in Palma de Mallorca.
The National Sports Office (OND), which is part of the National Police, will advocate for a sports sanction for the person identified as responsible for these racist chants before the State Commission against Violence, Racism and Xenophobia, which meets next week.
LaLiga has also filed a third complaint with the Pamplona Magistrates' Court against the racist insults hurled by a fan from the stands of the Estadio del C.A Osasuna on Saturday, February 18 against Vinicius Jr. in order to determine his identity.
LaLiga has already filed eight complaints for racist insults or chants against Vinicius Jr. However, three of them were shelved by the Public Prosecutors for Hate Crimes in Barcelona, Mallorca and Madrid, respectively. Currently, three other complaints have been accepted for processing before the Courts of Instruction No. 4 of Valladolid, No. 28 of Madrid and No. 3 of Palma de Mallorca.
As a reminder, in order to speed up the identification of any person or group of people who display racist behaviour inside or outside any stadium, LaLiga has set up the email address StopRacismo@laliga.es so that fans can contact LaLiga to help provide the necessary identification to file the relevant complaints
