The goalkeeper in this team is Atletico’s Jan Oblak, who scored 11 Fantasy points. The Slovenian stopper once again played a crucial role in his side getting a clean sheet in their 2-0 win over RC Celta.
The defence is made up of three players, who scored 12, 11 and 10 points respectively - Jonathan Silva, who struck for Leganes against Real Madrid; Alvaro Gonzalez, who helped his side Villarreal to a 1-0 away win over Girona FC, and Jean-Clair Todibo (10), who made a great impression on his debut for FC Barcelona against SD Huesca.
The four midfielders who earned a place in this team all found the net this matchday. Valencia’s Gonçalo Guedes scored against Levante UD, enough to earn him 14 Fantasy points, while Samuel Chukwueze netted for Villarreal, which saw him claim 12 points. Sevilla’s Pablo Sarabia and Franco Vazquez earned 12 and 10 points respectively after both being among the goals in the Seville derby which saw the home side win 3-2.
Alongside aforementioned Player of the Matchday Santi Mina are two other players who made a difference for their sides: Athletic’s Iñaki Williams, whose brace against Rayo Vallecano saw him earn 14 points, and Antoine Griezmann, who struck an excellent free kick for his side in their win over Celta, a performance enough to merit 12 points.
