Matchday 15 of the 2017/18 LaLiga Santander season is over and it's time to have a look at the LaLiga Fantasy MARCA Best XI from the last round of matches, which features players from six different clubs.
The Player of the Matchday, for the second week in a row, is D. Alaves midfielder Ibai Gomez, who earned 18 points. After netting a hat-trick on Matchday 14, Gomez opened the scoring for his side as they beat UD Las Palmas 2-0.
Atletico Madrid keeper Jan Oblak is between the sticks in this XI after scoring 12 points. The Slovenian kept yet another clean sheet as Los Colchoneros beat Real Betis 1-0 away from home.
Half of this XI's defence consists of Real Madrid players - Achraf Hakimi and Nacho - who both found the net for their side against Sevilla FC and scored 14 and 17 points respectively. The others in this back four are Malaga CF's Paul Baysse, who scored 14 points, and Girona FC's Johan Mojica, who also racked up 14. All four helped their sides keep clean sheets this matchday.
The aforementioned Alaves star Ibai Gomes is joined in this midfield by four other skillful players – Saul Ñiguez and Alfonso Pedraza, who both scored 14 points, and Dani Parejo and David Timor, who notched 13 and 17 points respectively. The lone striker in this XI is Cristiano Ronaldo, who scored a brace against Sevilla, enough to earn him 16 Fantasy points.
