Keep up with the Liga BBVA on your Samsung Gear S2 watch face

LaLiga and Samsung have designed a new watch face which allows you to take the Liga BBVA with you wherever you and your Samsung Gear S2 go.

The new watch face, which features the league table, the matchday, the day, month and the time, gives the Samsung Gear S2 an entirely unique look. Touching any part of the watch face takes the user to a second screen which offers detailed information on each of the teams, ordered according to their place in the league standings. The team-specific screen provides the user with information about where the side lies in the table, how many points they have picked up by the current matchday, as well as statistics such as games played, the number of wins, losses and draws, plus goals scored and conceded.

By pressing the dates at the edges of the watch face, the user can quickly navigate from one end of the league table to the other, checking up on each of the teams as they go. The information is updated live and enables you to keep an accurate check on the league through your Samsung Gear S2 watch face.

The watch face complements the LaLiga app for the Samsung Gear S2, in which you can keep up with all of the action from the Liga BBVA, the Liga Adelante, the Copa del Rey, the Champions League and the Europa League. The application features match updates every 30 seconds and the option to receive alerts on your watch with news on all of the goals, cards and substitutions.

In line with Samsung's commitment to sport and the values it fosters, Samsung Electronic Iberia and LaLiga signed a sponsorship agreement for the 2015/16 season with the aim of providing the footballing world with the most advanced technology. The sponsorship agreement, which saw Samsung named as LaLiga's technology partner for the season, involves the advertising of the brand throughout LaLiga's competitions and platforms, which include football stadiums, digital platforms, social networks, mobile apps, corporate events, television broadcasting and online streaming via LaLiga TV.
