Liga BBVA ambassador, Christian Karembeu, watched #ElClasico from Mexico, where he enjoyed Real Madrid's comeback at the Camp Nou. "Both teams had a really good game and Real Madrid set up well in defence to break on the counter-attack. It's a really positive result which provides them with a timely confidence boost going into the Champions League".
In his role as Liga BBVA ambassador, Christian Karembeu is in Mexico, where he took part in a workshop and attended the Movistar Legends match. From there, the former Real Madrid man highlighted Cristiano's role in #ElClasico: "We know what Cristiano is, he's world-class. He always scores goals and appears whenever he's needed". He scored a wonder goal today".
The Frenchman also analysed his fellow countryman Zinedine Zidane's first game against FC Barcelona as Real Madrid boss: "I sent Zidane a message to congratulate him. I think he's doing a really good job and I hope things continue going well for him at Real Madrid".
To conclude, Karembeu commented on the Liga BBVA table following Real Madrid's win: "Barcelona still have a seven-point lead, but you never know what might happen. There are games left to play and if Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid push hard anything could happen, although Barcelona are still favourites".
