Jude Bellingham, LALIGA EA SPORTS Player of the Month for December

Jude Bellingham has been named EA SPORTS LALIGA Player of the Month for the month of December, a distinction awarded by LALIGA together with EA. The English midfielder has scored in four of Real Madrid's five domestic matches this month.

Bellingham kicked off the month by scoring from the penalty spot in a 2-0 win over Getafe CF. He was on target again in his side's 2-1 loss to Athletic Club a few days later, and continued his scoring streak in a 3-0 win over Girona FC, a match in which he opened the scoring. Bellingham scored once more in the 3-3 draw against Rayo Vallecano, and although he was unable to complete the month with a goal, he also contributed to his side's 4-2 win over Sevilla FC.

Real Madrid's '5' has already accumulated 6 goals and four assists this season and is going through a purple patch. The Englishman picks up the baton from teammate Vini Jr., who was voted Player of the Month in November, and wins this award for the first time this season after beating Oihan Sancet (Athletic Club), Antoine Griezmann (Atlético de Madrid), Raphinha (FC Barcelona) and Sandro (UD Las Palmas) in the final vote.
