Juan Cruz wins Goal of the Month for August

Juan Cruz' goal against Las Palmas in matchday 2 of LALIGA has been chosen as Goal of the Month in August. The Argentine winger scored a rocket goal from 25 meters out to help his team win their home game 2-1.

It was the 71st minute of the game when Cruz received the ball and made a diagonal cut towards the middle of the pitch, preparig a perfect strike with his left foot that left Las Palmas goalkeeper, Jasper Cillessen, with nothing to do to prevent the ball from hitting the back of the net. 

The Leganés number ‘11’ wins his first Goal of the Month award ahead of Óscar Mingueza (RC Celta) and Oihan Sancet (Athletic Club).
